Clyde Harris, President
Dr. Alex A. Giannini MR. CLYDE HARRIS is the former Director of Development for all IHG company-owned and managed hotels and was responsible for obtaining new management contracts and administering current contracts. He oversaw the industry's third largest managed portfolio, consisting of over 300 hotels. Mr. Harris helped IHG launch the Crowne Plaza brand in 1994 and the Staybridge Suites brand in 1998, and he worked on the acquisition of the Candlewood brand in 2004. Within his portfolio of company-managed hotels, Mr. Harris manages approximately 130 extended-stay hotels for IHG, of which 76 are Candlewood Hotels. With the Staybridge brand, Mr. Harris achieved an 8% RevPAR premium from company managed hotels vs. franchised hotels in 2005. Mr. Harris also has previous management and marketing experience with Westin Hotels and Hilton Hotels. Mr. Harris will directly oversee site selection, hotel development and day-to-day hotel operations, through the Harris Hotel Group, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AHDP.
Steve MacKenzie, Vice President of Operations
Dr. Alex A. GianniniMr. Steve MacKenzie is a long time Hospitality professional bringing a wealth of Hotel experience to our team. Prior to joining Harris Hotel Group, Mr. Mackenzie served as a General Manager and District Manager for Prime Hospitality Corporation. During a period of rapid growth for the AmeriSuites brand, Steve was tasked as a New Hotel Opening Project Manager for Prime. Mr. Mackenzie has overseen the Construction, Operations and Associate Training for 20 hotel projects located throughout the Eastern U.S. Most recently, Mr Mackenzie assisted in the Operations and Opening Management of Green Park Managements Florida based portfolio of hotels. While maintaining operational supervision at the Hilton Garden Inn and The Hampton Inn Palm Beach Airport, he was responsible for all renovations, expansions, and new openings. His responsibilities included staffing, training, construction management, and FF&E purchasing.

Gail MacKenzie, Vice President Sales & Corporate Cultures

MRS. GAIL MACKENZIE is an accomplished leader in both the sales and training sectors of our industry.  Prior to joining Harris Hotel Group, she most recently led the sales initiatives of 9 hotels for, West Palm Beach based, Green Park Management.  During her eight years with the company, Gail served as General Manager of various South Florida Hampton Inn locations.  Green Park Management recognized her strength in sales, and promoted her to Area Director of Sales.  In addition to a wealth of Operational and Sales experience, Gail brings to our company an extensive background in staff development and training.

Prior to her employment with Green Park, Gail spent seven years as a trainer for the Walt Disney World Corporation. As an opening training manager for Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Gail was responsible for the training of cast members for Disney’s newest attraction.  In her role as Corporate Director of Sales, Mrs. MacKenzie is responsible for both revenue generation and the developmental training of our field based team members.


Michael Blem, Vice President of Construction

With a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering Technology from Florida A&M University, Mr. MICHAEL BLEM has over twenty-three years of commercial-related construction experience including seven years in senior level management with four years as Project Manager and eight years as Superintendent.

Since 2004, he has served as President of Emblem Construction, a company he founded. Mr. Blem is highly qualified in all aspects of construction and FF&E management including design, estimating, scheduling, regulatory submittal, site work and construction through project close-out. Blem has a history of maintaining high quality workmanship while meeting established budgets and completion schedules, and he consistently maintains high integrity with all project team members.

Roles at LAM Management, Inc. have included President and Safety Director from 2001 to 2004, Project Manager from 1998 to 2001, and Project Superintendent from 1991 to 1998. Projects during this period covered all types included multiple commercial construction projects including municipal recreational facilities, large-scale infrastructure projects, schools, hotels and airport expansion.


Lisa A. Woodman, Human Resources
Lisa A. WoodmanMs. Woodman brings over 20 years of administrative experience to AHDP. While attending USF, she began her career designing marketing materials and software User Interface for a real estate software development company. Ms. Woodman was part of a dynamic team that created cutting edge, customized selling systems for the real estate industry. After obtaining her B.A. in Criminology and Political Science, summa cum laude, she relocated to Boca Raton, Florida to join Cybrant, an exciting startup, software company that developed ecommerce and CRM solutions that revolutionized complex configuration on the internet in real time. Ms. Woodman was integral to the organization both from a marketing standpoint as well as handling HR and serving as office and facilities manager. She also became a key member of the creative services department, creating software package design, User Interface design, marketing collateral, web design, and trade show support. When Cybrant was acquired by Blue Martini Software, Ms. Woodman’s responsibilities grew as she took a more prominent role in both marketing and administrative initiatives. After six years at BMS, she relocated back to the Gulf Coast and had the opportunity to join Global Signal, a wireless tower firm. Ms. Woodman was brought on as the administrator to a ten million-dollar project that involved updating all of Global Signal’s business systems. When a merger halted the project, she became the lead on merger communications and became an effective liaison during the transition and also administered support to the executive team. She was part of a team that successfully designed and implemented many HR and management programs that made a significant contribution to employee morale record revenue results and a seamless merger transition.
